Friday Welcome dance and a more formal Gala dance on Saturday.
Platform dancing at the games field is scheduled on Saturday and

a week long school for all levels of Scottish
Country Dancing, Thistle
School is
held at Lees
McRae College.
For 2007,the Gala dance moves to Friday with the music of Bobby
Brown
and the Scottish Accent of Toronto.
These Games are currently held
the third
weekend in August at Bryan Park in NE Greensboro. The
location of the Scottish Country Dancing evening is to be announced.

Games ( held on the third Saturday of September ), the

SC Scottish Country Dancers host a

Games Dance.
Red Springs, NC
In
the first weekend in October , the Flora Macdonald Ball will take
place at the Campus of Flora Macdonald at Red Springs, NC. This a mixed
Scottish & Contra format.
